How did I fix «The payment card you entered is not valid in United Kingdom» for my Apple Account?

Step 1

I activated Apple Pay for my Apple account.

Step 2

I added the same bank card to Apple Pay successfully.

Step 3

I switched the payment method of my Apple Account from «Credit / Debit Card» to «Apple Pay».
