DHL CUSTOMS BONDED PACKAGE ARRIVAL NOTIFICATION

Your shipment is bonded in the Turkish Customs area.
For your shipment to reach you, formal customs clearance shall be done.
The waiting period in customs area is 20 calendar days, if no action is taken during this time, parcels will be processed for confiscation
Regarding return processes about shipment which has not exceeded the storage period and customs clearance documents has not been taken or reviewed, please do not hesitate to contact with our customer services (444 00 40).

DHL TerminalServices Offices are available within business days from 08:30 to 12:30 in the morning and from 13:30 to 17:00 in the afternoon.You can get and screen your customs clearance documents, your parcels manifest information, and calculate storage fee electronically on our website. gumruk.dhl.com.tr
If the e-document system does not work, you can get your documents physically from our Terminal Services Office.If you want to benefit from the services that DHL Express provides for your customs clearance/return/redirect processes, please do not print and/or screen your customs clearance documents electronically or physically.
If the incoterms mentioned on the airway bill document are DDP or DTP, or if it is marked that the consignor will be charged for the customs clearance taxes, duties and fees; mentioned expenses can be paid by the consignor if the clearance processes is being held by a DHL authorized customs brokerage.
If the incoterm mentioned on the airwaybill document is DTU, customs clearance taxes, duties and fees; mentioned expenses will be paid by the receiver.

- The following operations can be followed by DHL Express, in Istanbul, which is the first destination for shipments arriving on behalf of an individual.
If you are going to request any of these services; please do not use the e-document system, create your documents electronically or have your documents taken.With the implementation changes in the articles of the Customs Law, the simplified procedure limit of 1500 Euros for individuals has been reduced to 150 Euros.
You can find detailed information about the relevant change here.The customs procedures of your non-prohibited shipments not exceeding 150 Euros and 30kg, for personal use on behalf of the person, can be cleared by DHL Express with Electronic Commerce Customs Declaration (ETGB).
In this context, only taxes and official duties paid to the state are collected for the shipments processed.

Please do not pay before customs clearance.
• according to the updated customs legislation, only 5 shipments can be imported within the last 30 days within the scope of simplified customs clearance procedures on behalf of individuals.
If the mentioned limit is exceeded a detailed declaration will need to be made for all shipments that require customs clearance by a customs broker.
• During the temporary waiting period, you can get information about return, redirect or transit processes.
Customs Clearance by DHL Express for Companies
•All the processes mentioned below can be held by DHL Express, within the 20-day arrival period, in Istanbul, which is the first destination of your parcel.
If you are going to request any of these services; please do not use the e-document system, create your documents electronically or have your documents taken.
•Simplified Customs Clearance Process can be done if the actual value of your shipment is less than 22 EUR, by paying taxes, duties or fees that are required from Turkish Customs.
We can transfer your parcels from İstanbul Cargo Area to Ankara, İzmir, Adana and Antalya Cargo Areas, so that you can hold your import processes there.
•Return/redirect services are provided.
•If the product inside of your parcel is in your company's area of activity and if it is a sample for your company, you can apply for a tax-free clearance process.
Important Information
•The Customs Department is available on weekdays from 08:00 to 17:15.
For shipments which arrive on Saturday, you can contact our Customs Department from Monday to Friday.
•By screening/taking customs clearance documents electronically or physically; clearance, delivery, return or redirect processes (all responsibilities) about your parcels will be transferred to you.
•Terminal Services Cost 790 TL (Including VAT) will be charged for your import procedures.
When your customs declaration processes are completed, you can make your payments about terminal handling and storage fee but you shall, primarily, insert your airway bill number on the notes section of your bank receipt.
